On leads I receive from brides in Cincinnati from WeDJ.com, brides
sometimes indicate that they are ONLY interested in hiring LOCAL Cincinnati wedding photographers.
Well, I'm not actually located in Cincinnati, [I am physically located
right in the middle of a triangle from Cincinnati to Indianapolis to Dayton,
OH...about 40 to 60 miles from each, in Richmond, IN] but I probably photograph
as many Cincinnati area weddings as the busiest Cincinnati wedding photographers.
The same is true with Indianapolis weddings and Dayton, OH weddings. I
service that entire area and then some. The point I'm trying to make is that
maybe these brides are severely limiting their possibilities for really great
wedding photos by insisting on ONLY CONSIDERING hiring a photographer that
is physically located right next door to them!!
24 hour turnaround from when I received your album or reprint order is not
unusual. You'll have to hunt high and low to find another professional
wedding photographer that can and will match that kind of turnaround on orders
for you. Since I'm only doing weddings, I am freed up to where I can get
right on your order the minute it arrives and stay on it personally until
it is finished and on it's way to you.
Most wedding photographers speak in terms of weeks, when it come to filling
orders. Some speak in terms of months in preparing your album for you.
Definitely, not me!! I may have your finished order out to you by the time
others would just be getting your "previews" to you!)
(After our initial meeting, if you feel a need to have one, you'll swear
that I was located right next door to you from the service and convenience
you receive in having your wedding photographed and getting your orders speedily
filled and mailed to you! Many brides that hire me actually live half
way across the United States. They are "coming home to get married" and hire
me all the time from clear across the country without having a face-to-face
meeting before the wedding. I mail them sample photos to show them the quality
of my photography and answer all their questions and gather all the info
I need by phone or email. I have it worked out to where it is so smooth that
it is an art form unto itself.
So, as you can see, an initial face-to-face meeting is not even an absolute
requirement in order for you to be able to enjoy the benefits of my services.
Remember, on your wedding day, you won't be able to tell any difference
on where your photographer's business is located! Right?
